Heisey is a male, black tri Shetland Sheepdog. He was
born on January 11, 1995. He is 15 3/4 inches tall and
22 pounds. Heisey has competed with both the
American Kennel Club and the United Staes Dog Agility
Association. Besides being a top agility sheltie, Heisey is
a certified therapy dog.

Heisey and Kate have had many great achievements in
the sport of Agility. At the Amercian Kennel Club
National Agility Championships, Kate and Heisey placed
an amazing 5th at the 1999 (Kate was age 13) and 15th
at the 2000 in their 16" jump height. Heisey has finished
in the top 25 Shelties in  Excellent B, as stated by the
"Sheltie Pacesetter in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and
2002. At the 2001 American Shetland Sheepdog
Association's National Specialty, Heisey won the 16"
Excellent B Standard class, competing against many of
the countries top shelties. As if that wasn't enough,
Heisey has attended the American  Kennel Club's United
States World Team Invitational Selections in 2000,
2001, and 2002 (he has also qualified to attend in
2003). Kate was the first Junior Handler to compete at
this event. Last but not least, Heisey and Kate are the
FIRST Junior Handled dog to complete the first and
second Masters Agility Championship with the AKC.
Kate and Heisey were honored at the 2001 AKC
Nationals as being the first Junior Handled MACh Team.
